This fantastic youth group (I may be biased, but it’s the truth) from Selma, Alabama came to serve with AIM here in Gainesville. They were ready to put on a VBS, but when plans were changed last minute, they were quick to adapt and jumped into helping at three Boys and Girls club locations.

Not only did they help with classes and activities, they also helped with some much needed landscaping at one of the sites! In the blazing Georgia heat, these kids raked, mulched, planted, etc. and did it with fantastic spirits!

The kids at the Boys and Girls club absolutely loved working with them and were sad to see them go at the end of the week! Learning that this group had come all the way from Alabama just to be with them, the kids at B&G club felt even more special. They couldn’t believe that they had traveled all that way just to spend the week with them!
