Much has happened since our families met on Monday, yet it is amazing to see how the time has passed.  We have experienced so much in our short time together.  Parents, children, and project leaders have all grown and been stretched in some way or another.  There is no doubt that all of our lives have been changed somewhat by this journey.

Tomorrow will be a difficult day for us all.  We will be saying our goodbyes, but I pray it will only be for a short time.  Many of us parents are dedicated to keeping our new relationships growing even though this trip is over.  This trip is not officially over yet, but our next is already in the works.

I anticipate tears of joy and sorrow tomorrow.  We are anxious to return to our lives back home, but the final hugs will be painful...I believe especially for the children.  Our time together has proven to me that THIS is how God wants families to live.  The short time we spent in community (living, eating, serving, and doing life together), has been beautiful in so many ways.  May God show us how to keep this going and show others how to do the same.
